At the Current Trends in Biotherapeutics Workshop, Manoj Lalu, MD PhD FRCPC, Associate Scientist, Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, presented as part of Session 1: How Technology Is Changing Pre-Clinical Research. His talk was called “Disruptive paradigm shifts to reduce irreproducibility.”
The Clinical Translation Education Group, composed of BioCanRx, CCRM, CellCAN, Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (OICR), Ontario Institute for Regenerative Medicine (OIRM) and Stem Cell Network, hosted a one-day workshop on current trends and innovations in cell and gene therapy with an emphasis on disruptive technologies. The session introduced new tools and strategies that are shaping where the biotherapeutic field is headed. The workshop took place in Toronto on September 27, 2019.
