CCRM is located in Toronto’s MaRS Discovery District, part of a leading-edge, highly diverse biomedical ecosystem, with world-renowned clinical and academic facilities only steps away.

CCRM’s specialized infrastructure includes a 40,000 ft2 space with a process development (PD) lab and the Centre for Cell and Vector Production, a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)-compliant facility. The co-location of these facilities allows for the seamless continuity of processes from lab to clean room. Find out more about our specialized infrastructure.

CCRM is located in the heart of Toronto’s health, science and innovation community.

Our facility includes:

    • The Centre for Cell and Vector Production (CCVP): CCRM and the University Health Network (UHN) have partnered to design, build and operate a world-class GMP-compliant facility, comprised of 10 ISO Class 7/Grade B clean rooms. A unique attribute of CCVP is its location, directly across the hall from our PD lab, the Centre for Advanced Therapeutic Cell Technologies.
    • The Centre for Advanced Therapeutic Cell Technologies (CATCT): CCRM, in partnership with Cytiva and the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario, established a facility for advanced manufacturing, for the PD optimization and industrialization of cell and gene therapies.
